As of January 2024, all applicants applying for emergency assistance MUST attend our Budget Class BEFORE an assistance appointment can be scheduled.
Classes are offered every two weeks. Scheduled appointments only, NO walk-ins. Basic needs emergency assistance appointments will be scheduled at the end of BUDGET class.
Assistance is given in cycles: Sept - Nov and Jan - May. That is one cycle. Policy states that persons are eligible for assistance only once/Sept-May cycle, and after three instances of assistance, they are ineligible for additional help for a one-year cycle. This policy is in place to prevent dependence on our organization for bill payment and to allow others the opportunity to receive the limited assistance we can provide.
IMPORTANT!!!!! Services are closed from the end of November until the beginning of January AND from the end of April until the beginning of September. Registration will not be accessible during those times.
With assistance and education, we hope to help you elevate out of budgeting challenges and achieve financial stability.
