CATHOLIC CHARITIES of  CENTRAL LOUISIANA

We are Catholic Charities of Central Louisiana and our goal is to help those we serve to build better lives for themselves and their families. With our help, they can reach their full potential as children of God. In keeping with the Catholic social tradition, Catholic Charities affirms the dignity of work and the rights of workers. We also recognize the primacy of the family and the importance of strong families in building healthy communities.

Who Are We And What Do We Do. . .

Serving Others

Catholic Charities is committed to serving those in need with compassion and respect. We believe that every person is worthy of our help, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, or immigration status. We are called to love our neighbor as ourselves, and we can only do that if we see each person as a beloved child of God.

Respect Toward Others

Every person is made in the image and likeness of God and, as such, deserves our assistance in reaching his or her full potential. Catholic Charities employees and volunteers work diligently to safeguard the respect of all people they serve, especially those who are vulnerable and outcasts by society.

Helping Families When They Need It Most.

Catholic Charities Foundational Services unites with other community resources to provide more comprehensive programs to some of the most vulnerable members of society, including the poor, seniors, immigrants and refugees, the sick and disabled, and victims of human trafficking.
